Watch this first of all….

Well? Ok then.

First of all upon watching this trailer, I admit to being quite intrigued on the concept behind it. Dream Killer, “I have to remind myself who I am.” It makes me feel like a survival horror type deal in people’s dreams. God what a GREAT idea for a game!!

….Now I like shooters like the next guy, but when you start with an feeling and intro like that, and it throws you into a SERIOUS SAM FIRST PERSON SHOOTER LOTS OF CANNON FODER MONSTERS!!!!RAWERS!!!!!

*head smack* It went form intriguing to fucking juvenile in two seconds. It’s upsetting… There arn’t many original tales out there and when these devs strike one, they slap togeather a shooter style worthy of the DNF award for redundantly retarded, or RR. Again, don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy the once around random FPS game that has nothing but constant onslaught of enemies (Serious Sam was fun, lots of fun) But they HAD SOMETHING HERE!

When making a game, you have gameplay and story. They have to mesh together to develop the feel of what kind of game you make. If the game is creepy in story, it has to at least apply some creepyness to it’s friggin gameplay too! It’s really hard to pull a horror story in a FPS with bright colors low detail images, bright bright colors and 100s of cannon fodder ugly ass enemies on screen.

I’ve ranted about post apocalyptic visuals, and generally this fits in the same general range of thought… I might have to do more of these…

I requested a post on this, but since i got things running again, i’ll work on it.  KoT won’t be updating for a while becuase I’ll be at Otakon… and specificaly my computer is being nitpicky.

The fan in my power supply crapped out, and if I didn’t replace it, I feared the life of my PC would be in jeopardy.  My fan swap seems to be running good, for now.

Going to Otakon this year, with some shirts and cards. Hopefully I can get some attention for the site.  As such, till I return, I can’t garentee any updates.  Sorry!

New updates means new bugs.  My site software updated but it came with it a few bugs that needed to be addressed, and I have fixed them through the power of google, and searching support forums.  Research, basically.

Anyway, anyone having issue with reading the comic because it would stop on a news post, this should be fixed. *Just noticed it myself and quickly fixed*
